Meet Our Staff

Pastor Larry Soper

Lead Pastor

Pastor Larry and Grace Soper joined the FPC family in August 2013. They have been married for 23 years and have two grown children: Shandi and Justin and two grandchildren: Isaiah and Aliah.

Pastor Larry treasurers his Lord, his family and enjoys worship, teaching, preaching, singing, playing instruments, administration and meeting people. His motto is “He must increase, but I must decrease” (John 3:30).

His hobbies are reading books and research with depth in theology and application. He also enjoys hockey and is a huge hockey fan. He hopes this is not a deterrent (haha), but he is a huge Habs fan (Montreal Canadiens).

His heart is to see God’s people “Equipped for works of service, so that the body of Christ may be built up” (Ephesians 4:12); “Making disciples” (Matthew 28:19); and demonstrating “love” (Upwardly) toward God, (Inwardly) toward one another, and (Outwardly) toward our neighbor in a community filled up to overflowing in the power of the Spirit.
